PAYMENT OF EXAMINATION FEES BY THE GOVERNMENT TO THE STUDENTS APPEARING PUBLIC EXAMINATION

Scheme of exemption from the payment of fees to the public examination in respect of the students studying in SSLC/SSC and HSC/INTERMEDIATE in Govt. and Govt. aided schools in the Union Territory of Puducherry. The income ceiling limit of the parental income per annum shall not exceed Rs.1,50.000/-. The ceiling limit is not applicable to the SC/ST & BT students.

OBJECT:

To encourage the students and to raise the pass percentage in the public examination of the students who are studying in the Govt. Schools and Govt. aided schools in the Union Territory of Puducherry

ELIGIBILITY:

Students studying in SSLC and HSC in the Puducherry and Karaikal & Mahe regions, SSC/Intermediate in the Yanam region and whose parental income does not exceed of Rs.1,50,000/- are alone eligible for payment of examination fees by the Government. The income ceiling limit of the parental income per annum shall not exceed Rs.1,50.000/-. The ceiling limit is not applicable to the SC/ST & BT students.
