-Students who have passed the written examination are eligible for the oral examination. The prescribed form to apply for the irrecoverably lost Public Examination Mark Statement can be had from the Examination Cell, Office of Joint Director, Directorate of School Education, Education Complex, Anna Nagar, Puducherry – 5.

After filling in the application form, original copy of "certificate" issued by Revenue official not below the rank of Deputy Tahsildar after obtaining “Not traceable Certificate” issued by the Police Station, payment challan of Rs.505/- should be enclosed alongwith the filled in application form.

Enclosing all the above, the application shall reach the office of Joint Director through the Head of Institution where the student had studied last.

After receiving the application, the office of Joint Director will forward the same to the Office of the Director of Government Examinations, Chennai for necessary action. On receipt of the duplicate mark statement, the individual will be intimated to collect the same.

National Talent Search (NTS) Examination and National Means - cum - Merit Scholorship (NMMS) Examinations

RECOGNITION OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS

As per the provisions of the Puducherry School Education Act, 1987, permission of the Director of School Education is necessary to establish any private school i.e.Pre-Primary to Hr.Sec.School stage.

The application to seek permission for establishing a new private school shall be made in Form I prescribed in the Puducherry School Education Rules, 1996.
